The 4 LED lights offer a fire-like, flickering orange glow, so you get realistic lighting with no open flame. Serving a dual-function, the Lexington Backyard torch uses a butane cartridge to heat an insect-repellent mat that releases allethrin - a synthetic copy of a natural repellent found in some flowers. That means you also get ThermaCELL's proven 15' x 15' zone of scent and sound-free protection from mosquitoes, black flies, and other flying insects - that means defense against the Zika virus and other potential illnesses they may carry. Can be conveniently used in 2 ways: on the included pole as a standing torch, or with the table-top stand as more of a lantern. Butane cartridge lasts up to 12 hours, and each repellent mat lasts up to 4 hours, refills sold separately. Uses 4 x AAA batteries.
